Summer reading is available at your branch of Alexander County Library, June 1 – August 16! Simply sign up at your local branch between June 1 – August 1. Available for county youth ages birth to 2024 high school graduates and adults of any age. When you sign up, pick up a summer reading goody bag while supplies last. Report your times to your library regularly to earn brag tags!
Summer Reading 2024
What: Summer Reading at Alexander County Library, Bethlehem Branch, and Stony Point Branch
Who: Alexander County Youth – birth to 2024 high school graduate, also Alexander County adults (18+)
When: June 1 – August 16, 2024
How: Sign up at your library. For Youth: Add up time each day spent READING or being read to (books, audiobooks, manga, magazines, web articles, newspapers, closed-captioning on favorite TV shows or movies, video game reading). It all counts! For Adults: Keep track of the number of pages (audiobooks count, too). How many pages can we all read together?! Report your time or page numers to the library.
